TITLE: SHADOW OF A CRESCENT MOON
GENRE: contemporary with a paranormal twist
When twelve-year-old Sadie Elliott’s secret psychic vision
reveals a horrific car accident, she must make a choice: continue
hiding her ability from her skeptical mother or search for the girl
who has lived only in her visions, until now.
I think this is set up well, but IMO there needs to be something more than this choice. I'm guessing she chooses to search for the girl, and what happens then? What is at stake?ReplyDelete
Just my 2 cents!
This is MG.ReplyDelete
Sorry, I forgot to put that.
I really like your title. If Sadie chooses to search - Does she have a friend that can help?ReplyDelete
I like the premise here. Some thoughts/suggestions:ReplyDelete
1. By having the logline contained all in one sentence, the tacked on "until now." doesn't make sense to me. As is, Sadie has the visions, and needs to search. She doesn't know who the girl is. That's the setup. But with "until now" it makes it seem like she has now suddenly come in contact with this person.
2. What does Sadie see in the horrific accident? Does the girl die? And if Sadie finds her, will she be able to save her?
3. If Sadie goes out to look for the girl, what will the consequences be?
